•Avoid emotional arguments, and only use facts.

In general, of all the strategies to consider when dealing with purely recreational trolls, my personal advice is: don’t engage. It will only fuel the drama. But enduring it silently might not feel right. You may decide that you want to stay and fight back against your critics, or to see if you can reason with them. Might you be able to charm the blogosphere over to your side? Let’s look at some examples of how several vastly different approaches to handling cyberdrama played out, and see if you can find a strategy that best fits your situation and your style.
